‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ Season 14 Grand Finale, Episode 16 (04/22/22): How to Watch, Live Stream, Time, Date, Channel
“RuPaul’s Drag Race” returns tonight, and many fans can’t wait to see how it plays out. Here’s how you can watch the Olympics in drag racing.
Episode 16 titled “Grand Finale” premieres tonight, Friday, April 22, 2022, at 8 p.m. ET on VH1. Seven queens were introduced in the first episode, with Orion Story being the first queen eliminated. In episode two, the other seven queens head to the “Werkroom” to kill and Daya Betty returns home. In episode three, the remaining 12 queens – six from episode one and six from episode two – will join in the competition.
In episode three titled “A Pair of Balls,” “The queens put their design skills to the test in a double ball challenge, stomping the runway in 42 fashion looks.”
Orion Story and Daya Betty both returned to competition in episode three. While Willow Pill won the main challenge, June Jambalaya and Maddy Morphosis were the final two queens and had to lip-synch to Kylie Minogue’s “I Love It.” June was sent home.
In episode four titled “She’s a Super Tease”, “In their first acting challenge, the queens must create iconic moments for an extended Drag Race Super tease trailer.”
While Angeria Paris VanMicheals won the main challenge, Alyssa Hunter and Kerri Colby were the bottom queens and had to lip-synch to Jennifer Lopez’s “Play.” Alyssa was sent home.
In episode five titled “Save A Queen,” “Queens Must Do Parody Public Service Announcements for New Charity Supporting First Eliminated Drag Race Queens; with queens Tempest DuJour, Jaymes Mansfield and Kahmora Hall; guest judges from pop star Ava Max.
Kornbread “The Snack” Jeté had to pull out of the competition early in the episode due to an ankle injury. While Bosco won the main challenge, Jorgeous and Orion Story were the bottom queens and had to lip-synch to Ava Max’s “My Head & My Heart”. Orion Story was sent home.
In episode six titled ‘Glamazon Prime,’ “Michelle Visage’s online shopping has gone out of control; in this design challenge, the queens are tasked with making outfits from all the junk she’s ordered; Taraji P. Henson (Empire ) guest judges.
While Jorgeous won the main challenge, Jasmine Kennedie and Maddy Morphosis were the bottom queens and had to lip-synch to Beyoncé’s “Suga Mama.” Maddy was sent home.
In episode seven titled ‘The Daytona Wind,’ “Queens don shoulder pads and flex their acting muscles in a campy ’80s soap opera; LGBT activist TS Madison guest judges.
Daya Betty and Lady Camden were top queens and had to lip-synch to Blondie’s “One Way or Another.” Lady Camden won the lip-sync and therefore the main challenge.
In episode eight titled “’60s Girl Groups,” “Queens sing and dance in 60s girl groups The Rupremes, The Runettes and The Shangrulas; comedian Alec Mapa guest judge.
While Daya Betty won the main challenge, Jasmine Kennedie and Kerri Colby were the final two queens and had to lip-synch to Toni Braxton’s “Un-break My Heart (Hex Hector Remix)”. Kerri was sent home.
In episode nine titled “‘Menzeses,” “Queens to lead Drag Con panel discussions on the multi-faceted world of menz: dating, fatherhood and toxic masculinity; comedienne Nicole Byer is a guest judge.
While Bosco won the main challenge, Jasmine Kennedie and Jorgeous were the bottom queens and had to lip-synch to Etta James’ “Something’s Got a Hold on Me”. No queen was eliminated.
In episode 10 titled “Snatch Game,” “Queens impersonate celebrities in Snatch Game; Drag Race royalty Raven and actress Dove Cameron (“Descendants”) play along.”
While DeJa Skye won the main challenge, RuPaul revealed to the other seven queens that they were all downstairs and in episode 11 they would be participating in a “LaLaPaRUza” lip-sync.
In episode 11 titled “An Extra Special Episode”, “RuPaul introduces a twist that leaves the dolls gagging.”
After the “LaLaPaRUza” lip sync, Jasmine Kennedie was sent home.
In episode 12 titled “Moulin Ru: The Rusical,” “The Queens Go to Gay Paree, in the romantic musical Moulin Ru; singer Andra Day (“America vs. Billie Holiday”) guest judges; actor Leslie Jordan (“Will & Grace”) is the featured guest.
While Lady Camden won the main challenge, Bosco and Jorgeous were downstairs and had to lip-synch to Whitney Houston’s “Heartbreak Hotel” (Hex Hector Remix) featuring Faith Evans and Kelly Price. However, no one returned home.
While Bosco won the main challenge, Daya Betty, DeJa Skye and Jorgeous were the bottom queens and had to lip-synch to Olivia Rodrigo’s “Good 4 U”. Daya won the lip-sync, sending both DeJa Skye and Jorgeous home.
In episode 14 titled “Catwalk,” “Top queens must play catty models battling for stardom in music video for RuPaul’s new song, ‘Catwalk’.”
While Lady Camden won the main challenge, Angeria Paris VanMicheals and Willow Pill were the bottom queens and had to lip-synch with Lady Gaga and Beyoncé’s “Telephone.” No one was eliminated.
In episode 15 titled “Reunited,” “A week away from the grand finale, the contestants return to discuss some of the most giddy moments of the season.”
