Selma Blair was inundated with support after sharing a moving update on her battle with multiple sclerosis
Selma blair received a very special Christmas present in advance and she couldn’t wait to share it with the fans.
The star – that fights multiple sclerosis – was delighted to reveal that she now had a service dog to help her.

It’s been a long process and Selma revealed that they had been working towards her Pet Scout graduation for over 18 months.

Along with several cute photos with her pooch on Instagram, Salma wrote a long post.
âIt went on for a year and a half, but today my new partner, Scout, and I graduated. We are now a team of assistance dogs. Thanks to his trainer Courtney and the whole team at @doggie_do_good. “

She continued, “Scout helps me with some personal stumbling blocks and helps with my mobility. He’s an English red fox lab and he’s very good at his job.
Selma shared the wonderful news with photos of her dog
âHe’s very handsome and likeable, but if you see me, Scout and I, and we’re working (which he really always is, like me), then smile, but please don’t come near. âDistractions really push me back. I’m building endurance and coordination with the help of this special dog and training. “

Selma added: “I’m excited for this time to focus and settle in and get out of the house more. I am so happy to have it. And share news with you as we evolve. If you see me downstairs don’t worry, Scout has me covered. Literally in fact. I send my love and happy holidays to all of you. “
Selma recently published her memoir, Mean Baby
His post was greeted with a wave of support and wishes from his loved ones and fans.
Many thanked her for being so open on her difficult journey and also said her new memoir, Bad baby was so inspiring.
The mother-of-one revealed she was diagnosed with the disease in 2018.,
