She won silver at the Salt Lake City Olympics in 2002 and bronze in 2010 at the Vancouver Games. Her pink hair and energetic personality quickly made her a fan favorite during her 12 years on the USA Ski Team. After the Olympics, Shannon moved to Salt Lake. City, Utah. She is an entrepreneur, ski ambassador at Deer Valley Ski Resort, author of children’s books and founder of Team Empower Hour, a collaboration of Olympic motivational speakers. In March, she will launch a new online motivational platform called The WILL Program aimed at helping women gain confidence while helping companies retain top talent.
