“My administration has clearly expressed its commitment to investments and infrastructure upgrades in Pennsylvania,” Governor Wolf said. “This funding benefits Commonwealth residents in our 67 counties and those who visit the state by making roads, bridges and other infrastructure safer, more reliable and more accessible.”

The MTF was created by Bill 89 in 2013 to ensure the availability of safe and reliable transport access in Commonwealth communities. The program funds several types of improvement projects, including roads, hiking and biking trails, rail, road safety, public transportation, and air transportation.
